  1. Greeting

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
  2. Redemption in Christ

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
  3. just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
  4. having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
  5. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
  6. that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
  7. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
  8. Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
  9. that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
  10. the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
  11. which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
  12. By Grace Through Faith

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
  13. in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
  14. even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
  15. and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
  16. that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
  17. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
  18. not of works, lest anyone should boast.
  19. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
  20. that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
  21. Christ Our Peace

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
  22. having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
  23. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
  24. Christ Our Cornerstone

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
  25. having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
