  1. I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia and to come back to you from Macedonia, and then to have you send me on my way to Judea.

  7. In addition, we are sending with them our brother who has often proved to us in many ways that he is zealous, and now even more so because of his great confidence in you.
  8. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
  9. I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way.
  10. And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.
  11. Since many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast.
