If I partake [of my food] with thankfulness, why am I accused and spoken evil of because of that for which I give thanks?

And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.

Otherwise, if you bless and render thanks with [your] spirit [thoroughly aroused by the Holy Spirit], how can anyone in the position of an outsider or he who is not gifted with [interpreting of unknown] tongues, say the Amen to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

To be sure, you may give thanks well (nobly), but the bystander is not edified [it does him no good].

But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.
