Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

that in every thing ye are enriched by Him, in all utterance and in all knowledge,

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours,

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come — all are yours,

being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

“All things are lawful unto me,” but all things are not expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of any.

For I would that all men were even as I myself am. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one in this manner and another in that.

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all churches.

Now concerning things offered unto idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

yet to us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we in Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ by whom are all things, and we by Him.

If others are partakers of this power over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this power, but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the Gospel of Christ.

For though I am free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Know ye not that those who run in a race all run, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain it.

And every man that striveth for mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.

Moreover, brethren, I would not have ye ignorant of how all of our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,

and all were baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea.

And all ate the same spiritual meat,

and all drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

Now all these things happened unto them by way of example, and are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

For we, being many, are one bread and one body, for we are all partakers of that one Bread.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient. All things are lawful for me, but all things do not edify.
