    Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
  14. Love Fulfills the Law

    Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
  15. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
  16. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
  17. One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.
  18. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
  19. Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil.
  20. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
  21. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
  22. so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  23. And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol him.”
  24. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.
