  13. So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

  18. So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
  19. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
  20. Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand:
  21. not by works but by him who calls—she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”
  22. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.
  23. And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
  24. But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
  25. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
