  1. and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

  12. Do you not know that the one to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of that same one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?
  13. Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.
  14. For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  15. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in regard to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

  19. Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?
  20. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
  21. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
  22. for if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
