  1. The Gospel Exalted

    Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
  2. who was declared the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
  3. among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;
  4. to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the world.
  6. on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.
  7. but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction,
  8. being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,

  11. Results of Justification

    Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
  12. And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
  13. But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
  14. For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
  15. so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  16. Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
  17. So you too, consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
  18. For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  19. Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.
  20. Deliverance from Bondage

    Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.
  21. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
  22. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
  23. who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, but rather, was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
  24. nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  25. that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
