Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
  2. who was declared the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
  3. among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;
  4. to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the world.
  6. on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.

  9. Results of Justification

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
  10. For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
  11. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  12. And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
  13. But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
  14. For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
  15. so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  16. Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
  17. Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.
  18. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
  19. knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.
  20. So you too, consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
  21. For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  22. Believers United to Christ

Or do you not know, brothers and sisters (for I am speaking to those who know the Law), that the Law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives?
  23. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in regard to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.
  24. Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.
  25. Deliverance from Bondage

Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.
