  11. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
  12. So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
  13. However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

  24. For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing.
  25. And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing;
