  15. The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”
  16. The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men,
  17. A Nobleman’s Son Healed

    So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.
  18. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
  19. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
  20. The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
  21. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
  22. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.
  23. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
