  1. But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

  11. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
  12. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
  13. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
