  1. Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic

    Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

  14. And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things,
  15. Beware of Hypocrisy

    In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
  16. On that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, “Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You.”
  17. A Man with Dropsy Healed on the Sabbath

    Now it happened, as He went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees to eat bread on the Sabbath, that they watched Him closely.
