“Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow;

And He was saying to them, “Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides.

And when the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue; and the many listeners were astonished, saying, “Where did this man learn these things, and what is this wisdom that has been given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands?

Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet as a testimony against them.”

for Herod was afraid of John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and he had been protecting him. And when he heard him, he was very perplexed; and yet he used to enjoy listening to him.

The Heart of Man

After He called the crowd to Him again, He began saying to them, “Listen to Me, all of you, and understand:

Then a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud: “This is My beloved Son; listen to Him!”

And He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples were listening.

David himself calls Him ‘Lord’; so in what sense is He his son?” And the large crowd enjoyed listening to Him.
