The Pharisees went out and immediately began conspiring with the Herodians against Him, as to how they might put Him to death.

and *pleaded with Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live.”

And Jesus was saying to them, “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God when it has come with power.”

And from there they went out and began to go through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know about it.

saying, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and will hand Him over to the Gentiles.

And the chief priests and the scribes heard this, and they began seeking how to put Him to death; for they were afraid of Him, because all the crowd was astonished at His teaching.

What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and put the vine-growers to death, and give the vineyard to others.

And brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.

Death Plot and Anointing
Now the Passover and Festival of Unleavened Bread were two days away; and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to arrest Him covertly and kill Him;

And He *said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and keep watch.”

Now the chief priests and the entire Council were trying to obtain testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, and they were not finding any.

You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?” And they all condemned Him as deserving of death.
