  1. And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
  2. And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

  15. For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.
  16. But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
  17. Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
