  1. and do not assume that you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father’; for I tell you that God is able, from these stones, to raise up children for Abraham.

  15. Things to Come

    As He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples *said to Him, “Teacher, look! What wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!”
  16. And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”
  17. Joseph bought a linen cloth, took Him down, wrapped Him in the linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb which had been cut out in the rock; and he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.

  22. and, ‘On their hands they will lift You up, So that You do not strike Your foot against a stone.’”

  24. Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these stop speaking, the stones will cry out!”
  25. and they will level you to the ground, and throw down your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”
