  1. Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you.

  21. Masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Don’t threaten them; remember, you both have the same Master in heaven, and he has no favorites.
  22. Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.
  23. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
  24. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
  25. Masters, be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master—in heaven.
