  1. Christ Fulfills the Law

    “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
  2. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

  22. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
  23. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
  24. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
  25. But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because they are the price of blood.”
