Giving to the Poor and Prayer
“Beware of doing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

[But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” ]

And He *said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.”

And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made fervently by the church to God.
