  1. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

  20. And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
  21. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
  22. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
  23. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

  25. Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
