  1. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

  17. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
  18. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
  19. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
  20. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
  21. But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
  22. These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
  23. There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
  24. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
  25. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
