  1. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”

  18. Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
  19. He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
  20. However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.”

  60. Jesus Cleanses a Leper

    While he was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”
  61. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.
  62. Judging Others

    “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;
  63. How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.
  64. And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
  65. And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

  75. and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”
  76. Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
  77. And he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
  78. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

  80. But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake.

  83. By your endurance you will gain your lives.

  85. “If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe,
  86. and if I ask you, you will not answer.
  87. And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
  88. He said to them, “Come and you will see.” So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.
  89. Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”
  90. And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
  91. So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.”
  92. I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
  93. You will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come.”
  94. What does he mean by saying, ‘You will seek me and you will not find me,’ and, ‘Where I am you cannot come’ ?”
  95. So he said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”
  96. I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.”
  97. So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.
  98. and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
  99. They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”
  100. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
  101. Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.”
  102. One of You Will Betray Me

    After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”
  103. Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, so now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going you cannot come.’
  104. Jesus Foretells Peter's Denial

    Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered him, “Where I am going you cannot follow me now, but you will follow afterward.”
  105. Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

    “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
  106. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
  107. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
  108. Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”
  109. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
  110. These things I command you, so that you will love one another.
  111. They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.
  112. concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;
  113. Your Sorrow Will Turn into Joy

    “A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me.”
  114. So some of his disciples said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me’; and, ‘because I am going to the Father’ ?”
  115. Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, “Is this what you are asking yourselves, what I meant by saying, ‘A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me’?
  116. Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.
  117. In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
  118. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
  119. In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf;
  120. Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.
  121. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
  122. So Pilate said to him, “You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you?”
  123. He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish.
  124. Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.”
  125. for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
  126. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

  130. but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice,
  131. But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.”
  132. he will declare to you a message by which you will be saved, you and all your household.’
  133. And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
  134. And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.” Immediately mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking people to lead him by the hand.
  135. Therefore he says also in another psalm, “‘You will not let your Holy One see corruption.’
  136. “‘Look, you scoffers, be astounded and perish; for I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will not believe, even if one tells it to you.’”
  137. that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”
  138. And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

  150. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,
  151. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
  152. So with yourselves, if with your tongue you utter speech that is not intelligible, how will anyone know what is said? For you will be speaking into the air.
  153. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.
  154. For we are not writing to you anything other than what you read and understand and I hope you will fully understand—
  155. just as you did partially understand us—that on the day of our Lord Jesus you will boast of us as we will boast of you.
  156. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
  157. I hope you will find out that we have not failed the test.
  158. I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is.
  159. Keep in Step with the Spirit

    But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
  160. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
  161. knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
  162. A Good Servant of Christ Jesus

    If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed.
  163. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.
  164. Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.
  165. like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.”
  166. But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
  167. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
  168. Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.
  169. And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,
  170. who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God.
  171. Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
  172. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.
  173. They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
