  218. I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.’
  219. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered,
  220. The Stoning of Stephen

Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him.
  221. Philip Proclaims Christ in Samaria

Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word.
  222. Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John,
  223. Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money,
  224. Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.
  225. Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.
  226. Now the passage of the Scripture that he was reading was this: “Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opens not his mouth.
  227. Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him.
  228. Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.”
  229. The Healing of Aeneas

Now as Peter went here and there among them all, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.
  230. Dorcas Restored to Life

Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity.
  231. And now send men to Joppa and bring one Simon who is called Peter.
  232. Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what the vision that he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate
  233. So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”
  234. Peter Reports to the Church

Now the apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
  235. The Church in Antioch

Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews.
  236. Now in these days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
  237. Peter Is Rescued

Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison.
  238. When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”
  239. Now when day came, there was no little disturbance among the soldiers over what had become of Peter.
  240. The Death of Herod

Now Herod was angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon, and they came to him with one accord, and having persuaded Blastus, the king's chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their country depended on the king's country for food.
  241. Barnabas and Saul Sent Off

Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
  242. And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.” Immediately mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking people to lead him by the hand.
  243. Paul and Barnabas at Antioch in Pisidia

Now Paul and his companions set sail from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia. And John left them and returned to Jerusalem,
  244. and for many days he appeared to those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.
  245. Paul and Barnabas at Iconium

Now at Iconium they entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed.
  246. Paul and Barnabas at Lystra

Now at Lystra there was a man sitting who could not use his feet. He was crippled from birth and had never walked.
  247. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?
  248. Now Barnabas wanted to take with them John called Mark.
  249. And the jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go. Therefore come out now and go in peace.”
  250. But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, uncondemned, men who are Roman citizens, and have thrown us into prison; and do they now throw us out secretly? No! Let them come themselves and take us out.”
  251. Paul and Silas in Thessalonica

Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.
  252. Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
  253. Paul in Athens

Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city was full of idols.
  254. Now all the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there would spend their time in nothing except telling or hearing something new.
  255. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,
  256. Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked. But others said, “We will hear you again about this.”
  257. And when they opposed and reviled him, he shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”
  258. Apollos Speaks Boldly in Ephesus

Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures.
  259. Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices.
  260. A Riot at Ephesus

Now after these events Paul resolved in the Spirit to pass through Macedonia and Achaia and go to Jerusalem, saying, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”
  261. Now some cried out one thing, some another, for the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had come together.
  262. Paul Speaks to the Ephesian Elders

Now from Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called the elders of the church to come to him.
  263. And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there,
  264. And now, behold, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again.
  265. And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
  266. “Brothers and fathers, hear the defense that I now make before you.”
  267. Now those who were with me saw the light but did not understand the voice of the one who was speaking to me.
  268. And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’
  269. Now when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. It is with respect to the hope and the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.”
  270. Now therefore you, along with the council, give notice to the tribune to bring him down to you, as though you were going to determine his case more exactly. And we are ready to kill him before he comes near.”
  271. Now the son of Paul's sister heard of their ambush, so he went and entered the barracks and told Paul.
  272. But do not be persuaded by them, for more than forty of their men are lying in ambush for him, who have bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they have killed him. And now they are ready, waiting for your consent.”
  273. Neither can they prove to you what they now bring up against me.
  274. Now after several years I came to bring alms to my nation and to present offerings.
  275. Paul Appeals to Caesar

Now three days after Festus had arrived in the province, he went up to Jerusalem from Caesarea.
  276. Paul Before Agrippa and Bernice

Now when some days had passed, Agrippa the king and Bernice arrived at Caesarea and greeted Festus.
  277. And now I stand here on trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our fathers,
  278. Since much time had passed, and the voyage was now dangerous because even the Fast was already over, Paul advised them,
  279. The Storm at Sea

Now when the south wind blew gently, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, close to the shore.
  280. Yet now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
  281. The Shipwreck

Now when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed a bay with a beach, on which they planned if possible to run the ship ashore.
  282. Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us and entertained us hospitably for three days.
  283. always in my prayers, asking that somehow by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you.
  284. Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God.
  285. The Righteousness of God Through Faith

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—
  286. Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due.
  287. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
  288. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
  289. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
  290. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
  291. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
  292. I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.
  293. But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
  294. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
  295. But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.
  296. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good.
  297. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
  298. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
  299. Life in the Spirit

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
  300. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.
  301. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?
  302. Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!
  303. Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
  304. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree,
  305. For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience,
  306. so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.
  307. Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.
  308. But now, since I no longer have any room for work in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to come to you,
  309. Doxology

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages
  310. but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—
  311. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.
  312. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready,
  313. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—
  314. Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.
  315. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
  316. Principles for Marriage

Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.”
  317. Now as a concession, not a command, I say this.
  318. The Unmarried and the Widowed

Now concerning the betrothed, I have no command from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy.
  319. This is what I mean, brothers: the appointed time has grown very short. From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none,
  320. Food Offered to Idols

Now concerning food offered to idols: we know that “all of us possess knowledge.” This “knowledge” puffs up, but love builds up.
  321. Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did.
  322. Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.
  323. Head Coverings

Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.
  324. for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God.
  325. Spiritual Gifts

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed.
  326. Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;
  327. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
  328. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
  329. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
  330. Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be built up.
  331. Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?
  332. The Resurrection of Christ

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
  333. The Resurrection of the Dead

Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
  334. The Collection for the Saints

Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do.
  335. For I do not want to see you now just in passing. I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.
  336. Final Instructions

Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other brothers, but it was not at all his will to come now. He will come when he has opportunity.
  337. Now I urge you, brothers—you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints—
  338. Forgive the Sinner

Now if anyone has caused pain, he has caused it not to me, but in some measure—not to put it too severely—to all of you.
  339. Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,
  340. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
  341. From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.
  342. For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
  343. So now finish doing it as well, so that your readiness in desiring it may be matched by your completing it out of what you have.
  344. And with them we are sending our brother whom we have often tested and found earnest in many matters, but who is now more earnest than ever because of his great confidence in you.
  345. The Collection for Christians in Jerusalem

Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the ministry for the saints,
  346. I warned those who sinned before and all the others, and I warn them now while absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come again I will not spare them—
  347. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
  348. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
  349. They only were hearing it said, “He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”
  350. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
  351. Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
  352. Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”
  353. Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.
  354. Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one.
  355. Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.
  356. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian,
  357. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?
  358. I wish I could be present with you now and change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.
  359. Now this may be interpreted allegorically: these women are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery; she is Hagar.
  360. Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; she corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.
  361. Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
  362. But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.
  363. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
  364. From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
  365. in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—
  366. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
  367. which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.
  368. so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
  369. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
  370. The New Life

Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.
  371. for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
  372. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
  373. because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
  374. as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.
  375. engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.
  376. Lights in the World

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
  377. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.
  378. God's Provision

I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity.
  379. he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,
  380. Paul's Ministry to the Church

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church,
  381. the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.
  382. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.
  383. Timothy's Encouraging Report

But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and has brought us the good news of your faith and love and reported that you always remember us kindly and long to see us, as we long to see you—
  384. For now we live, if you are standing fast in the Lord.
  385. Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you,
  386. Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another,
  387. The Day of the Lord

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you.
  388. Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  389. The Man of Lawlessness

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,
  390. And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time.
  391. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.
  392. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,
  393. Warning Against Idleness

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
  394. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
  395. Benediction

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
  396. Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
  397. Some Will Depart from the Faith

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,
  398. I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.
  399. and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
  400. Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable.
  401. yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you—I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus—
  402. (Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.)
  403. putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.
  404. Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later,
  405. Jesus Compared to Melchizedek

Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron?
  406. Jesus, High Priest of a Better Covenant

Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,
  407. Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law.
  408. The Earthly Holy Place

Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly place of holiness.
  409. Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.
  410. For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.
  411. By Faith

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
  412. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.
  413. At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”
  414. Benediction

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
  415. Boasting About Tomorrow

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—
  416. Warning to the Rich

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you.
  417. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,
  418. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,
  419. It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.
  420. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
  421. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
  422. Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
  423. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
  424. The Day of the Lord Will Come

This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder,
  425. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
  426. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
  427. Warning Concerning Antichrists

Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
  428. Children of God

And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
  429. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
  430. and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
  431. And now I ask you, dear lady—not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another.
  432. Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
  433. Doxology

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
  434. to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
  435. The Seven Seals

Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!”
  436. The Seven Trumpets

Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.
  437. Satan Thrown Down to Earth

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back,
  438. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
  439. And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
