  11. And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once.

  13. They said to him, “He will put those wretches to a miserable death and let out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”

  15. I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”
  16. But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”
  17. And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it.
  18. When the season came, he sent a servant to the tenants to get from them some of the fruit of the vineyard.
  19. Truly, I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

    “For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit,
  24. for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.
  25. And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature.
  26. As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.
  27. The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree

    And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
  28. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’
  29. Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”
  30. When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants, so that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.
  31. For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
  32. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.
  33. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

  47. filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
  48. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.
  49. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.
  50. which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth,
  51. so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

  55. Patience in Suffering
