  12. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.
  13. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and follow His commandments.
  14. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.
  15. Walk According to His Commandments

    The elder to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not only I, but also all who know the truth,
  16. Now I ask you, lady, not as though I were writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
  17. And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you are to walk in it.
