Jesus Predicts His Death
From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

“The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.

So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

Jesus Predicts His Death
He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.

He sent still another, and that one they killed. He sent many others; some of them they beat, others they killed.

So they took him and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.
