  1. But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
  2. Now all this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
  3. And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took unto him his wife;

  6. But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,
  7. For this is he that was spoken of through Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.
  8. Jesus said unto him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God.
  9. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
  10. Again, ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
  11. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest.
  12. And the lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
  13. And when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the laborers, and pay them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
  14. And if any one say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
  15. And the multitudes that went before him, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
  16. When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
  17. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; This was from the Lord, And it is marvellous in our eyes?
  18. And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  19. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet?
  20. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
  21. the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,
  22. Now after a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and maketh a reckoning with them.
  23. and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord appointed me.
