  18. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
  19. “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
  20. In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
  21. All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
  22. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  23. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
  24. About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’
  25. The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
