His hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire: even the fat with the breast shall he bring, that the breast may be shaken to and fro before the Lord.

Then the Priest shall burn the fat upon the Altar, and the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.

For the breast shaken to and fro, and the shoulder lifted up, have I taken of the children of Israel, even of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the Priest and unto his sons by a statute forever from among the children of Israel.

And he put the breastplate thereon, and put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.

Likewise Moses took the breast of the ram of consecrations, and shook it to and fro before the Lord: for it was Moses’ portion as the Lord had commanded Moses.

So they laid the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the Altar.

But the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron shook to and fro before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Also the shaken breast and the [heave] shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place: thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they are given as thy duty and thy son’s duty, of the peace offerings of the children of Israel.

The heave shoulder, and the shaken breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to shake it to and fro before the Lord, and it shall be thine and thy sons with thee by a law forever, as the Lord hath commanded.

Whatsoever goeth upon the breast, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or that hath many feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, ye shall not eat of them, for they shall be abomination.
