  1. “‘Every grain offering you bring to the Lord must be made without yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey in a food offering presented to the Lord.
  2. “‘If the whole Israelite community sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though the community is unaware of the matter, when they realize their guilt
  3. or if they touch human uncleanness (anything that would make them unclean) even though they are unaware of it, but then they learn of it and realize their guilt;
  4. or if anyone thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil (in any matter one might carelessly swear about) even though they are unaware of it, but then they learn of it and realize their guilt—
  5. “If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible.
  6. The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it.
  7. “This is the offering Aaron and his sons are to bring to the Lord on the day he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening.
  8. Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned completely; it must not be eaten.”
  9. Every grain offering baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or on a griddle belongs to the priest who offers it,
  10. and every grain offering, whether mixed with olive oil or dry, belongs equally to all the sons of Aaron.
  11. Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them.
  12. So Aaron and his sons did everything the Lord commanded through Moses.
  13. “‘You will make yourselves unclean by these; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.
  14. Whoever picks up one of their carcasses must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening.
  15. “‘Every animal that does not have a divided hoof or that does not chew the cud is unclean for you; whoever touches the carcass of any of them will be unclean.
  16. Of all the animals that walk on all fours, those that walk on their paws are unclean for you; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.
  17. Anyone who picks up their carcasses must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening. These animals are unclean for you.
  18. Of all those that move along the ground, these are unclean for you. Whoever touches them when they are dead will be unclean till evening.
  19. When one of them dies and falls on something, that article, whatever its use, will be unclean, whether it is made of wood, cloth, hide or sackcloth. Put it in water; it will be unclean till evening, and then it will be clean.
  20. If one of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean, and you must break the pot.
  21. “‘If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches its carcass will be unclean till evening.
  22. Anyone who eats some of its carcass must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening. Anyone who picks up the carcass must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening.
  23. “‘Every creature that moves along the ground is to be regarded as unclean; it is not to be eaten.
  24. “‘These are the regulations concerning animals, birds, every living thing that moves about in the water and every creature that moves along the ground.
  25. After the article has been washed, the priest is to examine it again, and if the mold has not changed its appearance, even though it has not spread, it is unclean. Burn it, no matter which side of the fabric has been spoiled.
