Don’t continue bringing me ·worthless [meaningless; futile] sacrifices! ·I hate the incense you burn [^LIncense is detestable/an abomination to me]. I can’t stand your New Moons, Sabbaths, and ·other feast days [convocations; sacred assemblies]; I can’t ·stand [endure] ·the evil you do in your holy meetings [^Lsin and assembly].

I hate your New Moon ·feasts [festivals; Num. 28:11–15] and your ·other yearly [annual; appointed] feasts. They have become a ·heavy weight on [burden to] me, and I ·am tired of carrying it [or can no longer tolerate them].

At their ·parties [banquets; feasts] they have lyres, harps, tambourines, flutes, and wine. They ·don’t see [or have no regard for] what the Lord has done or ·notice [see; comprehend] the work of his hands.

God’s Banquet for His Servants

The Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; ^Tof hosts] will prepare a feast on this mountain [^CMount Zion; 24:23] for all people. It will be a feast with all the best food and wine, the ·finest [tenderest; full of marrow] meat and ·wine [well-aged/filtered wines].
