    O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure.
  2. Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded!
  3. You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, And the fire shall devour them.

  17. You have taken away all Your wrath; You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.
  18. Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Your anger toward us to cease.
  19. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
  20. For we have been consumed by Your anger, And by Your wrath we are terrified.
