    There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

  19. Are Your days like the days of a mortal man? Are Your years like the days of a mighty man,
  20. “Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be vindicated?
  21. For an empty-headed man will be wise, When a wild donkey’s colt is born a man.
  22. You would also lie down, and no one would make you afraid; Yes, many would court your favor.
  23. In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
  24. If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release.
  25. They grope in the dark without light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken man.
