  6. Offerings for the Tabernacle

    The Lord said to Moses,
  7. These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver and bronze;
  8. And make its plates and dishes of pure gold, as well as its pitchers and bowls for the pouring out of offerings.
  9. This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the Lord from their fellowship offerings.
  10. They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.
  11. So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.
  12. All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the Lord freewill offerings for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.
  13. They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.
  14. And they made from pure gold the articles for the table—its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings.
  15. He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the Lord commanded him.
