  21. and the statutes and the ordinances, and the law and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods:
  22. and the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods:
  23. but Jehovah your God shall ye fear; and he will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.
  24. So these nations feared Jehovah, and served their graven images; their children likewise, and their children’s children, as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
  25. And Gedaliah sware to them and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not because of the servants of the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

  96. Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, When iniquity at my heels compasseth me about?
  97. The righteous also shall see it, and fear, And shall laugh at him, saying,
  98. There were they in great fear, where no fear was; For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: Thou hast put them to shame, because God hath rejected them.
