  1. for you to be accepted—it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats.

  20. Administration of Justice

    “You shall not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep which has a blemish or any defect, for that is a detestable thing to the Lord your God.
  21. “Now this shall be the priests’ portion from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, either an ox or a sheep: they shall give the priest the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the stomach.
  22. You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, your new wine, and your oil, and the first fleece of your sheep.
