  8. Solomon Blesses Yahweh

    Now it happened that when Solomon had finished praying this entire prayer and supplication to Yahweh, he arose from before the altar of Yahweh, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread toward heaven.
  9. And Yahweh said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication, which you have made before Me; I have set apart as holy this house which you have built by putting My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.
  10. Perhaps Yahweh your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which Yahweh your God has heard. Therefore, lift up a prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

    Then Hezekiah took the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it, and he went up to the house of Yahweh and spread it out before Yahweh.

  19. “Now, O my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.

  21. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.
  22. Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people; and their voice was heard and their prayer came to His holy habitation, to heaven.
