  1. And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:
  2. When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
  3. And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.
  4. And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
  5. So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
  6. And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.
  7. And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
  8. Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
  9. And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the altar.
  10. Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord: it is most holy.
  11. Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.
  12. As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.
  13. And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the Lord.
  14. This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;
  15. This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
  16. Who shall offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
  17. This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
  18. This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
  19. This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.
  20. This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,
  21. To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.
  22. This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;
  23. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
  24. And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
  25. Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the Lord your God.
