  1. So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The nations whom you have taken into exile and settled in the cities of Samaria do not know the custom of the God of the land; so He has sent lions among them, and behold, they are killing them because they do not know the custom of the God of the land.”

  21. The young lions roar for their prey And seek their food from God.
  22. A king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, But his favor is like dew on the grass.
  23. The terror of a king is like the roaring of a lion; One who provokes him to anger forfeits his own life.
  24. The lazy one says, “There is a lion outside; I will be killed in the streets!”
  25. A lazy one says, “There is a lion on the road! A lion is in the public square!”
