  49. If you take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs in evil to Sheol.’
  50. I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph's hand shall close your eyes.”
  51. They also took their livestock and their goods, which they had gained in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him,
  52. And Israel said to Joseph, “I never expected to see your face; and behold, God has let me see your offspring also.”
  53. But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great. Nevertheless, his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his offspring shall become a multitude of nations.”
  54. His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
  55. And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third generation. The children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were counted as Joseph's own.
