13 [a] Return, return, O (A)Shulammite,
return, return, that we may look upon you.

He

Why should you look upon (B)the Shulammite,
    as upon (C)a dance before (D)two armies?[b]

How beautiful are your feet in sandals,
    O (E)noble daughter!
Your rounded thighs are like (F)jewels,
the work of (G)a master hand.
Your navel is a rounded bowl
    that never lacks mixed wine.
Your belly is a heap of wheat,
    encircled with (H)lilies.
(I)Your two breasts are like two fawns,
    twins of a gazelle.
Your (J)neck is like an ivory tower.
Your (K)eyes are pools in (L)Heshbon,
    by the gate of Bath-rabbim.
Your nose is like a tower of (M)Lebanon,
    which looks toward (N)Damascus.
Your head crowns you like (O)Carmel,
    and your (P)flowing locks are like purple;
a king is held captive in the tresses.

(Q)How beautiful and (R)pleasant you are,
O loved one, with all your delights![c]
