16 There are six things the Lord hates,(A)
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,(B)
a lying tongue,(C)
hands that shed innocent blood,(D)
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,(E)
19 a false witness(F) who pours out lies(G)
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.(H)
