²⁷ ¶ Withhold not the good from ^[a]the owners thereof, though there be power in [thine] hand to do it.

²⁸ Say not unto thy neighbor, Go and come again, and tomorrow will I give thee, if thou now have it.

²⁴ There is that scattereth, ^[a]and is more increased: but he that spareth more ^[b]than is right, surely cometh to poverty.

²⁵ The ^[c]liberal person shall have plenty: and he that watereth, shall also have rain.

²⁶ He that withdraweth the corn, the people will curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that ^[d]selleth corn.

²² The good man shall give inheritance unto his children’s children: and the ^[a]riches of the sinner is laid up for the just.

²¹ The sinner despiseth his neighbor: but he that hath mercy on the poor, is blessed.

¹⁶ A man’s gift ^[a]enlargeth him, and leadeth him before great men.

¹⁷ He that hath mercy upon the poor, lendeth unto the Lord: and the Lord will recompense him that which he hath given.

¹³ He that stoppeth his ear at the crying of the poor, he shall also cry and not be heard.

⁹ He that hath a good ^[a]eye, he shall be blessed: for he giveth of his bread unto the poor.

¹⁴ A man that boasteth of false liberality, is like ^[a]clouds and wind without rain.

²⁷ He that giveth unto the poor, shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes, shall have many curses.
