all his officials are wicked.

Proverbs 29:12

New King James Version

¹²If a ruler pays attention to lies,
All his servants become wicked.

¹⁹By words, a servant is not disciplined,
for he will understand, but there is no giving heed.

¹⁹A servant will not be corrected by mere words;
For though he understands, he will not respond.

²¹He who pampers his servant from childhood,
arrogance will be his end.^[a]

²¹He who pampers his servant from childhood
Will have him as a son in the end.
