than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich.

⁶^(A)Better is a poor man who ^(B)walks in his integrity
than a rich man who is ^(C)crooked in his ways.

¹⁸Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe;
but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.

¹⁸^(A)Whoever ^(B)walks in integrity will be delivered,
but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall.
