¹³To those who send him, a trustworthy messenger
is like the coolness of snow on a harvest day;
he refreshes the life of his masters.^(A)

Proverbs 25:13

International Standard Version

¹³Like cold snow during harvest time
is a faithful messenger to those who send him;
he refreshes his masters.

¹⁰Don’t slander a servant to his master
or he will curse you,^(A) and you will become guilty.

¹⁰Don’t lie about a servant to his master,
or that servant^[a] will curse you and you will pay for it.
