¹⁵ The mind of the discerning acquires knowledge,
and the ear of the wise seeks it.^(A)

² Even zeal is not good without knowledge,^(A)
and the one who acts hastily^[a] sins.^(B)

²⁷ If you stop listening to correction, my son,
you will stray from the words of knowledge.
