³⁵The king’s favor is toward a servant who deals wisely,
but his wrath is toward one who causes shame.

English Standard Version

³⁵A servant who deals wisely has ^(A)the king's favor,
but his wrath falls on one who acts shamefully.

²A servant who deals wisely will rule over a son who causes shame,
and shall have a part in the inheritance among the brothers.

²A servant who deals wisely will rule over ^(A)a son who acts shamefully
and ^(B)will share the inheritance as one of the brothers.
