Proverbs 14:35

³⁵The king’s favor is toward a ^(A)servant who acts wisely,
But his anger is toward him who acts shamefully.

Proverbs 14:35

³⁵A king delights in a wise servant,
but a shameful servant arouses his fury.^(A)

²A servant who acts wisely will rule over a son who acts shamefully,
And will share in the inheritance among brothers.

²A prudent servant will rule over a disgraceful son
and will share the inheritance as one of the family.
